Three Easy Steps to a Complete Smile

Step 1: Consultation and Preparation
It all starts with your consultation. Here, we’ll get to know you and your unique needs as well as evaluate your health. We’ll discuss all your tooth replacement options until we find one that’s right for you. Most are already candidates for dental implants, but some may require preliminary treatments before they’re ready to receive their dental implants, including a tooth extraction or bone grafting. We offer these at the same practice, and they can often be done within the same surgical appointment as your implant placement for your convenience. We’ll use our in-house cone beam CT imaging technology to capture highly detailed and three-dimensional images of your mouth and treatment site. Using these we’ll create a treatment plan unique to you and even walk you through it. We want you to feel as confident in your treatment as we are, so we’ll keep you informed and comfortable every step of the way. Next step, placement!

Step 2: Dental Implant Placement
Before you receive your dental implants, we’ll make sure you feel relaxed. With a nurse anesthetist at our side, we can administer any level of sedation from local to even general anesthesia. Once you feel comfortable, we’ll place your one or more dental implants into pre-planned surgical sites. Each implant is placed at the precise depth and angle to ensure lasting functionality and aesthetics. Once secured, we’re frequently able to attach your temporary restoration in the same visit! Working similar to a dental bridge, we’ll attach your temporary bridge of teeth to a foundation of dental implant posts. You’ll leave our office without a gap and with a confident, functional smile!

Step 3: Healing and Final Restoration
After your implant is placed, the treatment site will need three or more months to heal. During this time, your implant post, which is made of biocompatible titanium, will form a lasting bond with your jawbone during a process called osseointegration. This is what makes your dental implants so secure. Once healed, you’ll return to our office to receive your final restoration. Your final bridge of new teeth will not only be created to ensure you can eat the foods you love again, it will also blend seamlessly with the rest of your smile offering long-lasting, natural-looking results!
