The Next Best Thing to Natural Teeth

Looking for the Right Tooth Replacement?

Tooth loss can end up being more disruptive to your life than you had imagined. Trouble eating. Difficulty speaking. A decrease in self-confidence. We know how losing just one thing can affect so many others. That’s why we offer comprehensive tooth replacement solutions so you find the one you need to restore your smile and your ability to live your life with ease. Dental bridges and partial dentures may be ideal for some. They fill the gap in your smile quickly and affordably. But in doing so, they harm healthy teeth and ultimately, they’re only temporary. There is a lasting solution that can restore aesthetics, function, and health, though, it’s called a dental implant.

Dental implants are the only long-term tooth replacement solution that restores your ability to eat what you want, speak clearly, and fool even your spouse with a natural-looking design. Although often considered the next best thing to natural teeth, dental implants can also offer a crown that doesn’t stain and fade, and with proper care, it can last the rest of your lifetime! Drs. Erik and Karen Young take pride in offering the most cutting-edge solutions in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Considering patients’ convenience, they offer comprehensive dental implant treatment so you only have to see one team and visit one office for the care you need. Find out if dental implants are your solution at a personalized consultation with our experienced team.

Three Steps to Your Complete Smile

Step 1: Personalized Consultation
Before your visit, we’ll give you a call to make sure you feel prepared for your consultation and know what to expect. Once you come into our office, we’ll walk through all your options before determining the one that meets your unique dental and financial needs. If dental implants are your ideal solution, we’ll take highly detailed, 3D images of your oral structures with our cone beam CT imaging technology. Patient education is important to us which is why we’ll show you these scans and walk you through each step of your treatment plan as well as our planning process. We want you to feel as confident as we are in your treatment. Once all your unique concerns are discussed and goals are met, we’ll schedule your next visit to receive your dental implant!

Step 2: Dental Implant Surgery
On your surgical visit, we’ll welcome you to your private room where we’ll make you comfortable before treatment begins. Although only local anesthetic is usually required, we also offer a full range of sedation dentistry services including IV sedation to ensure any level of dental anxiety can feel comfortable here. If you require a tooth extraction before receiving your dental implant, we can offer it during the same visit to minimize treatment time. Next, we’ll place your dental implant post directly into your jawbone. The angle and depth of placement are pre-determined to ensure a predictable outcome. This post takes the place of a natural tooth root restoring natural jawbone health. With custom crowns made in-house, we can place a temporary crown in the very same appointment. You’ll leave our office with a complete smile in just one visit!

Step 3: Final Smile
During a period of three or more months, your dental implant post will fuse with your jawbone forming a lasting bond. This process, also known as osseointegration, is what allows your dental implant to restore nearly 100% oral function. After this healing period, you’ll return to our office so Drs. Young can place your final restoration. We consider function, aesthetics, and your unique personality with every crown we craft so you can expect a seamless smile that’s made just for you!
